The Forbidden Apple – The Story of Adam & Hawa
Welcome back, adventurers! This week on Amazing Stories with Zaki, we took a journey to the very beginning of human history—the story of Adam and Hawa and the forbidden tree in Jannah. 🌿
This story is one of the most important in human history, teaching us about choices, consequences, and the infinite mercy of Allah. But, of course, no episode would be complete without our beloved Captain Suhail adding his own dramatic—and often hilarious—flair!
The Perfect Life in Jannah
Adam and Hawa were the first humans, created by Allah and placed in Jannah, a paradise beyond imagination. There, they had everything they could ever want—endless gardens, delicious fruits, and complete peace. But Allah gave them one simple rule:
💡 “Eat freely from everything in Jannah, but do not go near this tree.”
Sounds easy enough, right? But then… Shaitan entered the picture.
The Whisper of Doubt
Before Adam and Hawa, Shaitan (formerly Iblis) was a respected jinn who lived among the angels. But when he refused to bow to Adam out of arrogance, he was cast out of Jannah. Instead of seeking forgiveness, he made a terrible promise—to lead humans astray.
And so, he whispered to Adam and Hawa:
"Why does Allah forbid you from this tree? He does not want you to become like the angels or live forever!"
The thought planted doubt in their hearts. Could it be true? Were they missing out on something greater?
The Moment That Changed Everything
Adam and Hawa hesitated. They knew the rule. But doubt, curiosity, and Shaitan’s false promises clouded their judgment.
And then...
🚨 Adam reached for the fruit.
🍏 He took a bite.
😱 And in that instant… everything changed.
Jannah’s peace faded. They suddenly felt exposed and ashamed. And then, they heard Allah’s voice.
The Mercy of Allah
Adam and Hawa had made a mistake. But instead of hiding or running away, they turned back to Allah and asked for forgiveness. And because Allah is the Most Merciful, He forgave them.
However, as a consequence of their choice, they could no longer stay in Jannah. Instead, they were sent down to Earth, where life would be different—full of challenges, choices, and the journey back to Allah.
Lessons from This Story
This story teaches us so much! Here are three key lessons we can all remember:
✅ Obeying Allah’s guidance protects us – Even if we don’t understand why a rule exists, we trust that Allah knows best.
✅ Shaitan uses whispers of doubt – We must be careful of negative thoughts and false promises that lead us away from what’s right.
✅ Allah’s mercy is always greater – No matter how big a mistake, if we sincerely ask for forgiveness, Allah forgives.
